Marie Sato

Marie Sato is a flautist from London, and is currently co-principal flute of Jyväskylä Sinfonia. Marie is an experienced orchestral player having performed as guest principal with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Turku Philharmonic Orchestra and has also freelanced with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Solo recitals include concerts at St James’s Piccadilly, St George’s Bristol, Elgar Room Royal Albert Hall and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with pianists including Kumi Matsuo, Siyu Sun and accordionist Ryan Corbett.
